What is the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre?
The LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre is an interactive indoor LEGO visitor attraction for children aged 3-11.
Are all of the attractions indoors?
Yes. The whole of the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is indoors, so even if it's raining outside, you can still have loads of fun!
Are there any age / height restrictions on any of the attractions?
Children under 1,30 must be guided by an adult to use the ride.
What is a 4D cinema?
It is a 3D cinema, but even better! As well as the film being in 3D (you get to wear special 3D glasses) you will also feel added special effects, like wind, rain and snow!
At what times do the 4D movies run?
Films run approximately every 20 minutes.
Can I keep the LEGO® model we make in the Master Model Builder attraction?
You can keep the model you build, however, there is a small charge.

 

Tickets and Prices
 

How much does it cost to visit?
To buy your ticket on the door it costs 15,95 € for adults and 12,95 € for children. However, you can buy special discount tickets online.
Is everything included in the admission price, or do I have to pay extra for some attractions?
Everything (including the rides and 4D cinema) is included in the one price, so your admission ticket allows you to experience all of the attractions at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.
What are the advantages of buying tickets online?
If you buy your tickets online you can benefit from great discounts and also fast track entry to the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.
Where can I find the best value prices and/or special offers?
Right here! Our website offers a "best price" guarantee, so you won't be able to find tickets to the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre cheaper anywehre else.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, Visa, Maestro and Mastercard.
Do younger children have to pay full price?
Children under 3 can visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre for free. Older children pay the standard child price.
What is the advantage of buying an Annual Pass?
With an Annual Pass, you are able to visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre as many times as you like within one year. An Annual Pass also entitles you to special offers and invitations to exclusive events.
Can I buy tickets online for other Merlin parks and attraction?
Berlin - As well as a ticket to the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, you can also buy tickets to Madame Tussauds Berlin and the Aquadom and SEA LIFE Berlin from our website
Can I use my Merlin Annual Pass to visit the centre?
Yes, you can use your Merlin Annual Pass to visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre as many times as you like.

 

Planning Your Visit

When are your opening times?
To see our up to date opening times, please click here.
It is difficult to say, as it does depend on the day, but generally the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is quiestest after 2pm.
How long will my visit take?
We recommend that you allow at least 2 1/2 hours to visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, but you can stay for as long as you like.
Are visits guided?
No, to give you as much flexibility as you like, you are free to visit each area of the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre as and when you choose. You can even visit each attraction more than once!
Can children visit the Centre without an accompanying adult?
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
Where is the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre?
Berlin is located here. Duisburg is located here.
How do I get to the Centre?

Do you have parking?
There are several public car parks around the Centre.
Do you serve food / drink at the Centre?
Yes, there is a Café at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre that sells a range of snacks and hot and cold drinks.
Can we bring our own food to the Centre?
Unfortunately bringing your own food is not allowed. However, we have a Café where you can purchse food and drink.
Can we buy LEGO® products at the Centre?
Yes, there is a LEGO shop at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre that stocks an extensive range of LEGO products.
Do I have to pay for entry to visit the LEGO Shop?
No, the shop has a separate entrance and you do not have to pay to visit our shop.
Is the Centre suitable for disabled visitors / wheelchair users?
Yes, the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is fully accessible for disabled visitors and wheelchair users.
Are staff first aid trained?
Although we hope that you don't require them during your visit, there are always staff members at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre who are first aid trained.
Can I bring a pushchair?
Yes, you can bring a pushchair with you and there is lift access to all floors.
Do you have creche facilities?
Unfortunately, we do not offer creche facilities.
Do you have baby changing facilities?
Yes, we have baby changing facilities at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.
Do you sell baby food in the Café?
We don't sell baby food, but you can bring your own baby food and bottles with you. We offer bottle warming services in the Café - just ask a member of staff.
Can I bring baby food/bottles with me?
Yes, and we offer bottle warming services in the Café.
Can I smoke at the Centre?
No, to ensure the best environment for children to play, we operate a no smoking policy throughout the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, so if you want to smoke, you will have to go outside.
Do you have cloakroom/locker facilities?
There are a limited number of lockers that you can use to store your personal posessions in by the entrance for a small charge

Do you offer group discounts?
Yes, we offer special rates for Group visitors. To find out more, click here

Do I have to book in advance to qualify for a group rate?
Yes. To benefit from our Group discount prices and to ensure that we can accommodate your group, all group visits must be booked in advance.
How far in advance do I have to book?
We ask that you book your group visit at least two weeks in advance.
Do all adults have to pay to accompany a group of children?
As part of our special groups offer, one adult goes free with every 10 paying children.
What is the required ratio of adults to children?
That depends on the age of the children. Please contact the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.

 

Birthdays

How do I book the birthday party?

Can I book a birthday party online?
To ensure that we can accommodate your birthday party, we ask that you phone the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre to make your birthday party reservation
What is included in my birthday party package?
We offer "build your own" birthday party packages, so your birthday party can include as much or as little as you like.
Will there be a host for my party?
Your party will be welcomed by a member of staff who will be able to provide you with information, however if you would like a member of staff to be with your group for the duration of the party, there is an additional cost for this service.
How far in advance do birthday parties need to be booked?
Our birthday parties are very popualar, so get booked up quite quickly. Therefore, to make sure you reserve the special date you want, we recommend that you book at least 3 weeks in advance.
How long can my party stay in the Centre?
Although the use of the party room is limited, you can stay at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre for as long as you like.
It is very important that your party arrives complete and in time to ensure everything goes fine.

 

Schools

How do I book a school visit?
For schoolbookings please phone the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.
Can I book a school group online?
Unfortunately, we can't currenty process schools bookings online. To find out how to book with school visit, please click here.
What is the mimum number of visitors to get the school rate?
You need to come with at least 10 pupils to get the special rates.
Do we have to book in advance, or can we walk up on the day of the trip?
To ensure that we can accommodate your school class and to benefit from our discounted schools rate, we ask that all school groups are booked in advance. We recommend that you book your school visit at least one month in advance. To find out more about booking your school visit, please click here
Can we get the school rate at the weekends?
Yes, the school rate is available every day of the week.
Do you offer the same group services forPre-school/Kindergarten groups?
Yes we offer the same conditions for schools and kindergartens.
How many teachers/chaperones can we bring for free? What is the cost for additional chaperones?
That depends on the age and the number of childrens you come with. For more information on special school deals, please click here.
How do I arrange for a special schools workshop for our visit?
If you want a special workshop please phone the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.

When do we have to give final numbers for the meal deal?
To be well prepared we need you to give us the final numbers 2 days before you arrive.
If we have fewer children on the day than the number booked in for a meal deal, do we have to pay for the children that do not show up?
No you do not have to pay for the children who do not visit.
Where do the buses drop off the students?
The bus can drop the students in front of our door but can not stay there.
